We loved its very very good and plentiful breakfasts!

The unit we got was well-appointed and brand-new with exotic decorations. Everyone from the stuff was excellant co-operating and efficient. The location was stunning and incredible, for example, a sand beach was just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel:)))

Lovely and absolutely perfect location, 15 minutes' walk to a golden-sand beach. "Based very close to the beach where there are lots of restaurants and bars. - "Excellent restaurants and the surrounding nature.

The room is bright and quiet, the staff are courteous people even with 2 managers on duty in there every day. A great and beautiful location, I would definitely book again.

The hotel setting was excellent. We stayed at the top room. Although a bit of climb to get to, being that high in the trees was truly spectacular. Had excellent view of playfull monkies as well as great spot to be to watch the rain fall.

I was initially annoyed that it took us 40 minutes to check in. Our room was not ready and they kept saying it would just be 5 minutes. That was not a good way to start things off. If it's going to be 40 minutes, then just tell me the truth so we don't have to sit their waiting the whole time.

We recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, situated in a beautiful area close to the beach. The service was exceptional with friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist us. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Our room was up 99 outdoor odd sized steps. It didn't have a phone line and it was unsafe to come out of our room during heavy rain as steps became very slippy. Pool was at the very side of reception and very shaded, Not a good place for relaxing after a day out exploring.

there is a problem with religeous chanting between 4 and 6 pm which can be annoying if you want to spend quiet times on your balcony.

The room was magnificient. Extremely quiet and relaxing. We got upgraded to room no. 6 - the best room. We were delighted! Loved being amongst the nature and had monkeys visiting us which was lots of fun. The breakfast was also very good. The massage was worth the wait for sure. But make sure you say exactly what you want so you don't have to pay for extra. The staff were wonderufl, so much fun and very talkative and helpful.

Nothing!! Everything was top class as far as Boutique Hotel should be under a boutique hotel standards.

The hotel is situated in a stunning location near a beautiful golden-sand beach.

A wonderful setting, nestled into the jungle and just a short (5 minute max) walk to the beach. The pool area is lush and it feels like you're swimming in a clear jungle stream. But the very best thing about Thambapanni is the restaurant. We rarely eat at hotel restaurants but we just couldn't get enough of this one. After trying many of the restaurants in town I am confident that Thambapanni has the best and most creative curry dishes, including a beet root curry that blew our minds. The Sri Lankan breakfast is equally delicious, make sure you ask for it the night before.

We gained weight staying there because the food was too good. There was some mold in our bathroom which could have been scrubbed away. But it is a hot and humid climate so this is somewhat nit-picking.

The amenities were actually excellent and on-par with a hotel at twice its price (AC, fridge, nice bathroom, very pleasantly decorated room etc). I was extremely happy when I first walked into the room. Until I found all the bugs in my bed and had dozens of bites all over my body when I woke up the next morning.

There were many bugs in my bed. There were 2 kinds; small ones like 1 - 2 mm in diameter, and another much smaller one like 0.2 - 0.5mm in diameter. I do not know if they were bed bugs as I have never seen bed bugs before, but I got a lot of bites all over my body and it was horrible.

I loved how this hotel was situated right in the jungle yet really close to the beach. It was great being so close to all the restaurants and small local shops in this city too. The hotel facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Plus, the breakfast was delicious!

Very relaxing, the rooms were large and in a great location. the staff we incredibly friendly and made a real fuss of us on our honneymoon. i would definately recommend this hotel.

The only thing I can thin of is the number of stairs to our room - but it was worth it once we were there!!
